About the role#
The Disputes, Claims, and Investigations summer internship at Stout provides exposure to litigation-based engagements. You will work on projects involving forensic accounting, fraud investigations, valuation, and commercial damages. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role for Summer 2027 based in New York.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain financial models.
- Examine and analyze financial statements.
- Organize and review documents received for cases.
- Conduct industry and company research.
- Perform data entry and quality control checks.
- Support Analysts and Associates with various ad-hoc tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a BA or BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.2 GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Previous internship or extracurricular experience related to the field.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Eligibility to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
