About the role#
Stoss Landscape Urbanism seeks interns to join our team in Los Angeles. You will work on a variety of projects, including parks, open spaces, and campus design. This role covers ecological and resiliency planning, municipal strategies, and multi-scale landscape infrastructures. You will also assist with development projects, remediation, and the design of furnishings and exhibitions. This position offers mentorship from peers and senior staff.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the team on diverse landscape and urban design projects.
- Contribute to ecological and resiliency planning efforts.
- Assist in the development of municipal and regional strategies.
- Support the creation of multi-scale landscape infrastructures.
- Work on site development and remediation tasks.
- Help design furnishings and exhibitions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master program for Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Architecture, or a comparable degree.
- A portfolio uploaded with your application.
- Strong design and conceptual skills.
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent physical 3D model building skills.
- A basic understanding of Rhino for digital 3D renderings.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within a team.

- This is an on-site position based in Los Angeles, California.
- The internship is paid and full-time.
