    About the role#

    This is a part-time internship position within the Organizational Development Office of the Florida Department of Transportation. The role focuses on internal communications, event support, and digital design to help foster an organizational culture of trust, relationships, respect, empowerment, and communication.

    What you'll do#

    • Design and build user-friendly SharePoint sites, pages, and resource hubs.
    • Create marketing materials including graphics, email newsletters, flyers, and brochures using graphic design software like Adobe Creative Cloud.
    • Develop reusable templates for training sessions, workshops, and meetings, including presentation slides, agendas, and handouts.
    • Assist with event logistics, including setup, attendee communications, and the placement of branded displays.
    • Monitor engagement metrics such as email opens, site traffic, material downloads, and event attendance.
    • Collect and analyze user feedback on organizational development processes to suggest improvements.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be at least eighteen years of age.
    • You must be authorized to work in the United States.
    • Knowledge of graphic and layout design principles.
    • Experience with SharePoint site design, resource hub structure, and navigation.
    • Ability to operate graphic design software and build reusable templates for decks and layouts.
    • Skills in event logistics, including the preparation of training materials and physical or digital display setup.
    • Ability to track performance metrics and translate user feedback into actionable insights.

    • Location: Tallahassee, Florida.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Schedule: Part-time, 10 hours per week.
    • Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
