About the role#
This is a part-time, on-site practicum position based in San Jose, California. You will work 16 hours per week providing mental health and case management services to children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 21. This role involves working within community, school, and home-based settings as part of a clinical team focused on behavioral intervention.
What you'll do#
- Provide mental health and case management services to referred children, adolescents, and their families.
- Conduct engagement, assessment, and evaluation tasks.
- Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
- Act as a liaison with external agencies and collaborate with clinical and support staff.
- Document and bill for services provided while completing required outcomes information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a practicum course at an accredited MA, MS, or MSW program.
- Proficiency in Spanish.
- A valid California Driver’s License and current automobile insurance.
- A driving record that meets company eligibility requirements.
