About the role#
We are hiring a Transportation Roadway Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based in Blue Ash, Ohio. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting our design and construction teams on various transportation projects.
What you'll do#
- Support our roadway design, airport design, and structural engineering groups.
- Work with our roadway construction engineering teams in the field.
- Conduct basic calculations and help develop engineer's estimates.
- Assist the team in preparing CAD drawings and project reports.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree program for Civil Engineering.
- A strong interest in transportation engineering planning, design, and construction.
- A basic understanding of civil design concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience with Bentley MicroStation/Open Roads Designer or AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus.
- Strong oral, written, and graphic communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team on multiple project tasks.
