About the role#
We are hiring a Transportation Roadway Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time position based in Fargo, North Dakota. You will work on-site as part of our roadways team to support various project phases.
What you'll do#
- Support roadway design and structural engineering groups.
- Assist roadway construction engineering groups in the field.
- Conduct basic calculations and help develop engineer's estimates.
- Prepare CAD drawings and reports.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor or master degree program for Civil Engineering.
- A strong interest in transportation engineering planning, design, and construction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong oral, written, and graphic communication skills.
- Ability to work with a team on multiple tasks.
- Basic understanding of civil design concepts.
- Experience with Bentley MicroStation, Open Roads Designer, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D is a plus.
