About the role#
Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineering student for a full-time Transportation Engineering Co-op or Intern position during the Summer 2027 term. Based in Auburn, New Hampshire, this role provides hands-on experience in planning and designing transportation infrastructure. You will work alongside experienced practitioners on projects ranging from roadways and bridges to multimodal connections.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams by preparing studies, reports, memos, spreadsheets, graphs, drawings, and calculations.
- Assist project managers to learn internal frameworks and the project development process.
- Perform fieldwork, including construction inspection and data gathering.
- Participate in the company internship program, which includes attending workshops and speaker series.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be reliable.
- Willingness to perform field work.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, ArcGIS, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in a similar environment is a plus.
