About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will work under the guidance of senior engineers on various projects. You will perform design tasks, calculations, and field work. This role is a full-time position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the mechanical engineering and design of process piping, pumps, and equipment general arrangements.
- Develop mechanical specifications and data sheets.
- Produce BIM drawings using Revit or Plant 3D.
- Perform field work, such as site evaluations, when directed and accompanied by a senior engineer.
- Assist with engineering duties on projects of varying complexity.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the engineering team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in mechanical engineering or an equivalent field.
- Proficiency in drafting with a basic understanding of Revit or other drafting software.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Willingness to take direction, follow processes, and accept feedback from senior staff.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong motivation to learn.
- Experience with Revit is preferred.
