About the role#
As a Civil Engineering Intern in our Water business, you will work on a variety of projects alongside senior engineers and professionals. You will participate in the evaluation and specification of engineered systems, contributing to the delivery of sustainable water solutions. This role provides hands-on experience in field work, design, and construction services.
What you'll do#
- Provide basic engineering design for various projects.
- Develop project drawings, plans, specifications, and calculations.
- Assist with construction oversight by working with contractors, subcontractors, and owners on job sites.
- Prepare reports, memos, and other project documentation.
- Complete construction field reports and review construction submittals.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of the primary disciplines of civil engineering.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
