About the role#
This is an entry-level architectural design role for the Winter 2027 term. You will work under the guidance of experienced architects and designers. You will contribute to projects in the education, transit, healthcare, and civic sectors. This position is full-time and on-site in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
What you'll do#
- Interpret sketches, drawings, building programs, and related materials.
- Support the project team by developing design and construction documentation.
- Create design materials including sketches, physical and digital models, diagrams, and massing studies.
- Research concepts, benchmarks, materials, typology, and precedents.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an architecture program at a university or college.
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCad, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft, and rendering software.
- Ability to hand sketch and communicate abstract concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to engage in creative and critical thought.
- Ability to collaborate within a project team setting.
- A portfolio must be included with your application.
