About the role#
America's Future is looking for an intern to join our Washington, DC team for the Winter 2027 term. This is a hands-on role where you will support the production of events, including the Annual Gala and Awards Showcase, as well as the fellowship programs and chapters that connect our community. You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and assist the full team with daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and logistics for the Annual Gala.
- Manage guest lists, RSVPs, and registration using Salesforce and Eventbrite.
- Communicate with sponsors, donors, and honorees.
- Provide program support for fellowships and chapters.
- Track attendance, participation, and feedback to keep program data current in the CRM.
- Assist with events in the DC area.
- Create content for social media regarding our programs and events.
- Help with daily office operations.
What you'll need#
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- An entrepreneurial spirit.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or Eventbrite is a plus.
- Prior experience in event, program, or volunteer coordination is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Washington, DC.
- The role is paid and includes a travel stipend for the metro.
