About the role#
Atlas Network is seeking a Marketing and Communications Intern to assist the team with content creation and storytelling. You will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and support the organization in its mission to champion a free, prosperous, and peaceful society. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in copywriting and social media while working within an international non-profit environment.
What you'll do#
- Draft emails, social media content, and weekly partner highlight blog posts.
- Curate content for video productions and podcasts.
- Collect, analyze, and report engagement analytics from the Atlas Network website and social media channels.
- Coordinate communication between the Marketing and Communications department and other internal teams.
What you'll need#
- Experience with social media and content management.
- Familiarity with tools such as Hubspot, MailChimp, Wistia, Riverside, Craft, or WordPress.
- Academic or professional background in journalism, English, marketing, communications, or economics.
- A portfolio of social media work.
- A writing sample from a professional or academic setting (500 words or less).
- An interest in Atlas Network’s mission and international issues.
Location & details#
- This is a part-time, paid internship for Winter 2027.
- The role is based in Arlington, Virginia, with a hybrid work schedule.
- Preference is given to applicants who can regularly work from the Arlington office.
