About the role#
This fellowship is for video-first creators who are passionate about the collectibles world, including sports cards, Pokémon, One Piece, and memorabilia. You will create TikTok and Instagram content that brings the brand to life, builds community, and drives engagement. This is a hands-on, learning-focused position for students or early-career creators who are comfortable on camera and capable of managing the full video production lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Create short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels, including pack openings, card reveals, grading results, and commentary on collectibles culture.
- Appear on camera for pack rips, product reviews, reactions, and general commentary.
- Manage the end-to-end production of your videos, including filming, editing, captioning, and posting.
- Help develop recurring content series and formats.
- Track trending sounds and formats within the collectibles and TCG space to create timely content.
- Assist with community engagement by responding to comments and monitoring audience feedback.
- Collaborate with the content team during live events, product launches, and drops.
What you'll need#
- Experience creating engaging video content specifically focused on sports cards, TCG, collectibles, or related fandoms.
- A natural, authentic presence on camera.
- Proficiency in shooting and editing short-form video using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or InShot.
- Strong knowledge of the sports card or TCG market, including brands like Pokémon, One Piece, Panini, and Topps.
- Solid understanding of current sports and pop culture trends.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, Graphic Design, Psychology, or Sociology.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site fellowship based in Toronto, Ontario.
- The role operates on a rolling basis.
- Candidates must be based in the Greater Toronto Area and able to commute to the office.
