    About the role#

    St. Luke’s University Health Network is hiring nursing students for part-time Patient Care and LPN roles. These positions provide direct and indirect care to patients across their lifespan. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to support patient needs and assist with clinical tasks.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN.
    • Collaborate with the treatment team to perform skilled tasks (for LPN roles).
    • Work cooperatively with other health care team members.
    • Complete an initial 6-day classroom orientation followed by unit-specific training.
    • Attend St. Luke’s University Health Network Assistive Personnel and Medical Terminology courses.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment or acceptance into the St. Luke's School of Nursing.
    • A high school diploma or equivalent for Patient Care positions.
    • Current state licensure for LPN roles.
    • Ability to obtain BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 lbs, and transport patients weighing up to 400 lbs.
