Student Nurse – Urology

About the role#

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Student Nurse to join the Urology unit at our Edgewood facility. This role provides an opportunity to gain clinical experience while assisting with patient care under the guidance of registered or licensed practical nurses.

What you'll do#

• Provide direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide for the personal care and comfort of patients.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.

What you'll need#

• High School diploma or GED.
• Currently enrolled in good standing at an accredited nursing program.
• Successful completion of the first clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2.75 GPA.
• Not listed on the Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry.
• Basic math skills and basic computer knowledge.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
