Student Nurse – Med Surg

About the role#

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Student Nurse to join the Med Surg Unit at the Fort Thomas Hospital. This is a part-time position requiring 24 hours per week on a rotating schedule.

What you'll do#

• Provide direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide for personal care and comfort.
• Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.

What you'll need#

• High School diploma or GED.
• Currently enrolled in good standing at an accredited nursing program.
• Successful completion of the first clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2.75 GPA.
• Not listed on the Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
