Student Nurse (SNAP) - SICU

About the role#

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Student Nurse for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) in Edgewood, Kentucky. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience within a 20-bed unit while supporting the nursing team in a professional healthcare environment.

What you'll do#

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide for the personal care and comfort of patients.
• Help maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.

What you'll need#

• High School diploma or GED.
• Currently enrolled in good standing at an accredited nursing program.
• Successful completion of at least one clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2.75 GPA.
• Must not be listed on the Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry.
• Basic math, computer, and effective communication skills.

• Location: Edgewood, Kentucky.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Full-time, 30 hours per week (Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
• Employment Type: Paid, regular position.
