About the role#
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Student Nurse (SNAP) for the 3SW Cardiac Step Down Unit at the Fort Thomas Hospital. This role provides an opportunity to gain clinical experience within a 23-bed cardiac and telemetry unit while supporting the nursing team.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Provide for the personal care and comfort of patients.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
What you'll need#
- High School diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in good standing at an accredited nursing program.
- Successful completion of the first clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 2.75 GPA.
- Not listed on the Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
