About the role#
As a Quality Engineer Intern for Summer 2027, you will support quality activities, documentation, internal audits, and corrective action efforts. You will work alongside a cross-functional team to prepare policies, processes, and procedures for the revised ISO 9001 standard.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and implementation of quality activities and procedures.
- Develop, revise, apply, and maintain quality plans and related documents.
- Coordinate policy and process revisions to meet updated ISO 9001 requirements.
- Collaborate with personnel across our Brentwood, Cuba, and Monroe City locations.
- Assist with internal ISO quality audits.
- Help teams perform root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for internal and external quality issues.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective human relations skills, including good listening ability and the capability to work with others to implement change.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is hybrid and based in Brentwood, Missouri.
- Occasional travel, less than 10%, may be required.
