About the role#
As an intern at Springline Advisory, you will apply your academic knowledge to real-world projects. You will work alongside industry experts to support our clients and gain practical experience in the accounting services industry.
What you'll do#
- Participate in intern orientation, technical training, and development programs.
- Shadow team members and perform procedures on financial statement areas like cash, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and accounts payable.
- Review client financial statements and record necessary adjustments.
- Work on payroll and 1099 annual filing requirements.
- Gain experience with software for bookkeeping, tracking fixed assets, and preparing tax returns and assurance work-papers.
- Collaborate with clients ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations.
What you'll need#
- Completion of more than two years of coursework toward a bachelor’s degree in business or accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills.
- Ability to commit to extended hours and occasional Saturdays during the busy season from January through mid-April.
