About the role#
As a Student Optician, you will support customers in finding eyewear that provides comfort, style, and function. You will work under the supervision of a Licensed Optician to collaborate with retail and clinical teams while maintaining brand standards.
What you'll do#
- Help customers understand their visual needs and interpret optical prescriptions.
- Provide personalized guidance on frame and lens selection.
- Perform accurate dispensing measurements using digital tools.
- Maintain knowledge of frames, lenses, treatments, and current promotions.
- Support daily store operations, including inventory management and cleanliness.
- Manage after-care services and handle third-party billing.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Opticianry post-secondary program.
- At least 2 years of previous customer service experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy retail environment.
- Reliability and flexibility to work retail hours.
- Motivation to build long-term customer relationships.

- Location: North Vancouver, British Columbia.
- Term: Rolling.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Availability: Weekend availability is required for up to 24 hours per week.
