About the role#
This 10-week Core Banking Internship offers undergraduate students a practical introduction to banking operations and strategy. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to client engagement, operational processes, and business initiatives. The program includes workshops, training sessions, and networking opportunities designed to build your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Participate in internship program activities, including workshops, training sessions, and special projects.
- Conduct market research to identify client needs and suggest banking solutions.
- Assist with data analytics, due diligence on banking platforms, and document reviews to support client outreach.
- Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and team leaders on consumer and business initiatives.
- Support efforts to increase user engagement and promote banking services.
- Manage your tasks and meet deadlines while working in a professional environment.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor degree in Business Management, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Rising Senior status with an expected graduation date in December 2027 or May 2028 is preferred.
- A 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical and creative mindset with an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while remaining detail-oriented and proactive.
- Completion of mandatory new hire compliance training and New Employee Orientation.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship at $20 per hour.
- The role is remote, available to students located in VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, TX, and CO.
- The program term is Summer 2027.
