About the role#
The Office of Diversity Programs is looking for a student to serve as an Agent of Change. This position helps create an inclusive campus environment while you build professional skills in leadership, communication, and technology. You will work on-site in New Hampshire, typically between 8 and 15 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Plan and run 2 to 6 programs or events each month, including menu planning, guest coordination, and event setup.
- Design digital and print content for social media, email, and flyers to promote events.
- Keep the office lounge space organized and welcoming.
- Manage inventory, file documents, and shop for event supplies.
- Foster a sense of belonging and support an inclusive environment for all students.
- Work both independently and with your team to support daily operations.
- Attend weekly staff meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an SNHU Undergraduate or Graduate Day program.
- Good standing with Community Standards and Academics.
- A solid understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, and creative tools like Canva or video editing software.
- Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in New Hampshire.
- Shifts are typically available Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with some weekend work required.
- This is a paid, part-time position.
