About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work within the IT Change Management team at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. You will gain insight into how technology supports the wine and spirits distribution industry. The program is designed to provide hands-on experience through project support, training, and department meetings.
What you'll do#
- Work across various digital and technology areas to understand the intersection of technology, sales, and operations.
- Support assigned projects based on your specific learning goals.
- Participate in on-site meetings and department learning opportunities.
- Complete an end of internship project to showcase your knowledge and present your findings to management.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 21 years old by the start of the internship.
- Currently a Junior in college, graduating the following year.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with AI language models, software development, and programming principles.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with data analysis, statistical concepts, survey tools, and data visualization.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and work through ambiguity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to reside in the vicinity of the internship location.
