About the role#
This internship provides an immersive experience within the Consumer Packaging America Division. You will work on hands-on projects alongside industry experts and gain a broad understanding of the business across the Sonoco enterprise. The program is designed to help you prepare for your next career steps through professional development and networking.
What you'll do#
- Work on hands-on projects with industry experts.
- Gain business knowledge from across the enterprise.
- Engage with Sonoco leadership.
- Participate in plant tours.
- Join activities with other interns and Emerging Leader associates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.
- Academic concentration in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Packaging Science.
- Previous internship experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Technical aptitude.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
