About the role#
This internship is part of our IPP Division, focusing on Technology. You will spend 12 weeks working on hands-on projects alongside industry experts. The program is designed to provide you with a practical look at the manufacturing and packaging industries while supporting your professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Complete hands-on projects with industry experts.
- Participate in plant tours.
- Engage directly with Sonoco leadership.
- Network with business leaders.
- Take part in activities with other interns and Emerging Leader associates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Previous internship experience, preferably in a manufacturing or functional area.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Technical aptitude.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Location: Hartsville, South Carolina.

- Compensation: Paid internship with a monthly salary. Housing and activity stipends are provided, along with relocation assistance.
