About the role#
Soccer Shots Pittsburgh is looking for coaching interns to help lead youth soccer sessions. This role involves working 10-15 hours per week on a schedule that stays consistent throughout the season. We operate year-round with sessions lasting 8 to 11 weeks. Most of your work happens independently, so you must be self-motivated and comfortable communicating through email, text, and video calls.
What you'll do#
- Lead a set number of soccer sessions each week, ranging from 30 minutes to one hour.
- Run demo classes at new or prospective locations.
- Support the Director of Coaching and Coaching Coordinator with staff evaluations and reviews.
- Assist with training other staff members and help prepare for seasonal coach meetings.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the curriculum and provide feedback on lesson plans.
- Represent the company at community events like open houses or back-to-school nights.
- Distribute marketing materials such as flyers and yard signs.

- This position is based in Washington, PA, with travel required to surrounding areas.
- The role is on-site and part-time.
- This is a paid internship, and we can work with your school if you are seeking academic credit.
