About the role#
As a Merchandising Coordinator Co-op, you will support the accuracy of site and customer master information. This role involves working with the Retail Enablement, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure data integrity and meet business requirements. You will gain exposure to the daily operations of a large grocery retailer while building your analytical and technical skills.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain site and customer master information in alignment with Service Level Agreements.
- Monitor for errors, report issues, and ensure data integrity across company systems.
- Accurately enter and update information while following established policies and procedures.
- Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
- Provide data and insights based on customer and business needs.
- Retrieve data to support team deliverables and contribute to shared objectives.
- Handle sensitive information with care to maintain customer confidence.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business, Commerce, Finance, or related program.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, including experience with lookups, matching, and data organization.
- An eye for detail to notice inconsistencies and the initiative to fix them.
- Ability to dig into questions to find root causes and practical solutions.
- Strong communication skills to work with different teams and keep projects moving forward.
- A collaborative mindset to ensure prompt and thorough support for data maintenance.
