About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Intern to join our team in San Antonio. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position. We are seeking students pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering who show potential for long-term growth within our firm.
What you'll do#
As an intern, you will support our engineering staff with various technical activities. You will learn our internal policies and procedures while contributing to projects under the guidance of experienced team members. Your daily work includes:
- Participating in technical studies, investigations, and design tasks.
- Assisting the project team with the production of project deliverables.
- Inspecting work performed by contractors at job sites.
- Handling and manipulating project plans.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering program.
- An ability to grasp the basics of engineering design and analysis.
- Proficiency with a computer to manage email and create documents.
- The physical ability to traverse construction sites and lift plan sets weighing up to 30 pounds.
