About the role#
Sipcam Agro USA is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Intern to support the team with state and federal registration processes for pesticides and fertilizers. This role provides hands-on experience in regulatory compliance within the agrochemical industry, based at the corporate office in Durham.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the submission of state pesticide and fertilizer new product registrations and renewals.
- Help resolve state regulatory requirements, including tonnage reporting, sales reports, and certifications.
- Prepare dossier submissions, label amendments, and notifications for federal product registrations.
- Participate in innovation and new product introduction meetings to identify and solve potential issues.
- Support the review and editing of commercial product labels and the management of technical reports with external research organizations.
- Attend industry association meetings and provide updates on upcoming legislation.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to track and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Professional maturity with the ability to handle complex regulatory issues.
- Prior coursework or academic projects in regulatory affairs or agrochemicals is a plus.
