About the role#
SimVentions offers an 11-week paid internship program for students interested in software development. This role provides hands-on experience working alongside our teams on technical projects. You will gain exposure to professional software workflows and receive mentorship from experienced staff while contributing to real-world applications.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications and tools.
- Work with development teams to implement features and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Contribute to software projects using modern programming practices and technologies.
What you'll need#
- You must have completed your Freshman year of college by the start of the internship.
- Enrollment in a relevant degree program such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience or coursework in software development is a plus.
