About the role#
This internship supports the Raw Procurement Manager, Field Representative, and Raw Planner in the Grand Forks area. You will assist with potato procurement and related field activities to ensure smooth operations.
What you'll do#
- Perform crop sampling to track field quality and progress.
- Work alongside growers as directed by the Raw Procurement Manager.
- Enter field observations and crop progress data into computer systems.
- Maintain spreadsheets and record yield information by grower, commodity, and variety.
- Track and log weather data.
- Coordinate with the harvest crew to schedule timelines and locate fields.
- Support manufacturing operations regarding raw product.
- Take on special projects and additional assignments.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor degree program at a 4-year college or university.
- A strong academic record, with a suggested minimum 3.0 GPA.
- A valid Driver's License.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
- The role is full-time and paid.
- Travel is required for up to 25% of the time.
