About the role#
This internship provides students enrolled in agriculture programs the chance to gain hands-on experience within Simplot Grower Solutions. You will start by supporting day-to-day retail operations during the peak season before transitioning into agronomy-focused duties as the season progresses.
What you'll do#
- Manage product movement, organization, and inventory counts twice a week.
- Assist with loading and unloading products for customers and suppliers.
- Complete loadout tickets for every customer transaction.
- Maintain the yard by mowing, clearing debris, and leveling gravel.
- Treat seed as required.
- Scout three of your own fields throughout the growing season and track findings using AgWorld.
- Consult regularly with the local Agronomist, ACE, or Agronomy Lead.
- Support the agPROVE trial program by maintaining field signs and capturing data.
- Help organize and run field days and customer tours.
- Participate in ride-alongs with Account Managers and Ag Innovation Leads.
- Complete the Winfield United Agronomy & Intern Training Program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary agriculture program.
- A valid Class 5 driver license.
- Ability to perform manual labor and tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- A professional approach to workplace conduct and customer confidentiality.

- Location: Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan.
- This is an on-site, full-time position.
- The role follows a rolling term schedule.
