About the role#
Simon Quick Advisors is hiring a Spring Intern for our New York office. This is a full-time, paid internship running from January through May 2027. You will work as a generalist, gaining exposure to client service and investment research. We look for students who have an interest in finance and want to pursue a career in investment management or financial planning.
What you'll do#
- Provide daily administrative support, such as scanning documents, filing statements, and answering phones.
- Assist the client service team with portfolio analytics and presentation materials for meetings.
- Join client calls regarding market outlooks, financial planning, and portfolio performance.
- Build manager profiles in our database and communicate with investor relations departments.
- Attend investment research team meetings and document manager calls.
- Research macro events that impact the investment community.
What you'll need#
- You are preferably a Junior or Senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- You work well independently and on a team.
- You have strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- You possess a high level of attention to detail.
- Some knowledge of financial markets is helpful.
