About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work on real-world projects that impact the organization. You will participate in the development, communication, and implementation of team concepts while gaining a well-rounded learning experience. At the end of the summer, you will present your project findings to team members and senior leaders.
What you'll do#
- Work on projects that address day-to-day challenges and fit your specific field of study.
- Help build a culture of continuous improvement to refine processes and reduce waste.
- Participate in team meetings and support the implementation of company policies.
- Maintain familiarity with established operating systems, including quality and security protocols.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support business objectives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Biology, Environmental Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and general computer skills.
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours and lift at least 10 pounds.
- Willingness to work in various temperatures and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Experience in manufacturing or the poultry industry is preferred.
