About the role#
This internship offers a chance to work on projects that impact the organization. You will gain experience through a mix of project work and daily tasks designed to help you understand process fundamentals. You will also build relationships across different departments.
What you'll do#
- Complete a challenging project related to your major and present your findings to the team and senior leadership at the end of the summer.
- Perform daily work to learn the fundamentals of our processes.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement by finding ways to remove waste.
- Help develop, communicate, and implement team concepts, programs, and policies.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure we follow best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate program in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Ability to work on your feet for several hours.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds.
- A willingness to lead and offer opinions.
