About the role#
We are looking for a motivated Human Resources Intern to join our team in King of Prussia. This role offers hands-on experience in a professional office setting. While your primary focus involves digitizing and organizing employee records, you will also support daily HR operations and special projects. This is an ideal position for a student or recent graduate who wants to learn how HR functions behind the scenes.
What you'll do#
- Digitize paper files by scanning, indexing, and uploading documents into our HRIS.
- Review scanned records for accuracy and proper categorization.
- Organize and securely archive physical files based on company retention and confidentiality standards.
- Perform data entry and routine audits to keep employee information current.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding paperwork.
- Answer routine employee questions and direct complex inquiries to the right team member.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence, and office supply management.
- Help with reports, employee engagement activities, and other HR initiatives.
- Maintain professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfort handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize tasks.
- Reliability and a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to commit to an on-site schedule.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms is a plus.
