About the role#
Sightline Media Group is hiring an Editorial Intern to join the Military Times news team. This role is open to current students and recent graduates. We offer opportunities for those seeking academic credit as well as an Editorial Fellow program for recent graduates.
What you'll do#
- Report and write daily stories about the military for publication with your byline.
- Assist the news team with larger reporting projects.
- Work alongside the video team.
- Support social media efforts.
- If you have skills in graphic design or video editing, you will have the chance to use them.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience with writing and reporting.
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program, preferably in Journalism, Communications, or English.
Location & details#
- This position is fully remote.
- The role is paid and full-time.
