About the role#
The Finance & Accounting Intern will report to the Cost Controller and work with the Operations Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Treasury teams. This position provides exposure to how finance functions support corporate operations. This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Serve as the primary Oracle Pricing Administrator, including managing price lists, analyzing margins, and creating price modifiers.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Product Management, and IT on price list automation and new creations.
- Analyze and submit commercial sales promotion requests and price deviations.
- Track and process royalty and donation agreements, including summarizing sales and securing payment approvals.
- Perform Treasury and Accounting analysis, covering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting.
- Assemble journal entries and handle ad-hoc data gathering.
- Assist the Financial Planning & Analysis team by rolling monthly schedules forward, consolidating financial performance books, and producing sales projections.
- Support Operations Finance by compiling invoice details for capital debt financing, reconciling capital assets, and consolidating work order data from Oracle.
- Release credit holds for pending shipments under the guidance of the Accounts Receivable team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Finance or Accounting with at least 2 years of education completed.
- Minimum GPA of 3.25.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intellectual curiosity.
- Prior experience with professional finance organizations or ERP systems like Oracle is a plus.
