About the role#
This summer internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the aerospace and defense industry. You will work as part of the corporate team, supporting business operations through tasks related to finance, marketing, human resources, or business administration. The program includes mentorship from experienced professionals, cross-functional workshops, and direct involvement in company projects.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to team objectives by completing assigned project tasks.
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decisions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
- Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements and goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of best practices.
- Communicate progress and findings to team members and leadership.
- Participate in workshops to learn more about the business and company culture.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Standing as a college Sophomore, Junior, or Senior with at least 6 months remaining until graduation after the internship ends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Relevant prior experience is required.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with the aerospace and defense industry, prior internship experience, and knowledge of Microsoft Access or data analysis tools.
- U.S. Citizenship is required, as this position necessitates the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
