Sidara is seeking an Intern Engineering Designer for the Bridge team during the Summer 2026 term. This full-time, paid internship provides an opportunity to support engineering staff on a variety of infrastructure projects through hands-on work and collaboration with senior engineers.
What you'll do#
- Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
- Perform quantity take-offs.
- Assist with project monitoring, scheduling, and computer modeling.
- Assist in the production of engineering drawings, calculations, cost estimates, and progress reports.
- Apply relevant codes and standards to engineering deliverables.
- Attend site visits and inspections.
What you'll need#
- Current 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate standing or Graduate student status in an accredited Civil Engineering program (BS degree preferred).
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
- Experience with engineering software such as SAP 2000 or CSI Bridge is preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
