Mechanical Engineering Intern/Co-Op

About the role#

Introba is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern or Co-Op to join the Toronto office for a 4- to 8-month placement. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience by supporting engineers and design staff on various building systems projects within a collaborative team environment.

What you'll do#

• Assist in setting up, maintaining, and updating AutoCAD and Revit drawing files throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support drafting tasks for HVAC, Fire Protection, and Plumbing systems based on guidance from team leaders.
• Ensure all technical drawings comply with established design checklists and company standards.
• Collaborate with design staff to coordinate mechanical requirements with other building systems.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit software.
• A mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in mechanical building systems and sustainable design.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
