About the role#
This position offers practical experience for students pursuing careers in pharmacy. You will work in a community retail environment designed to prepare future pharmacists for success by providing real-world training and exposure to the expanding roles of the community pharmacist. This is a part-time, unionized role.
What you'll do#
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Keep the customer at the center of all operations.
- Learn to manage a retail pharmacy setting.
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements, including confidentiality and consent management, are met.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Enhance communication skills with patients, employees, and other healthcare workers.
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a program related to Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Public Health.
- A commitment to professional service and patient care.
- Ability to work within a team-oriented, community-focused environment.

- Compensation: $22.00 - $28.75 per hour.
