Pharmacy Student

About the role#

This position offers practical experience for students in a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a locally owned and operated store, gaining exposure to pharmacy practice while helping to deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.

What you'll do#

• Support the pharmacy team in delivering health and wellness services.
• Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy to ensure an exceptional shopping experience.
• Maintain high standards for customer confidentiality and consent management.
• Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
• Enhance your communication skills through interactions with patients, staff, and other healthcare workers.
• Develop knowledge of over-the-counter (OTC) products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
• Learn the operational skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a relevant program such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
• A commitment to privacy requirements and professional conduct.
