About the role#
This position offers practical experience for future pharmacists within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a locally owned store to deliver health and wellness services while gaining real world training to complement your academic studies. This role involves direct patient interaction and exposure to the expanding responsibilities of a community pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including maintaining customer confidentiality and obtaining necessary consent.
- Maintain a professional presence by being clearly identifiable to the public.
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
- Participate in the company's Health and Wellness philosophy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a program such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- Exposure to pharmacy practice in a community setting.
- Ability to enhance communication skills with patients and employees.
- Knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
- Patient counseling skills.
- Understanding of the skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.

- Location: 2303 West 41st Ave, Vancouver, British Columbia.
- Schedule: Part-time, hourly, day shift.
- Pay: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
- Modality: On-site.
