About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work under a local Associate-Owner at the Kingsway Garden Mall location in Edmonton. This role provides an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world pharmacy operations and patient care.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain strict standards for customer confidentiality and consent.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Learn about the expanding roles of community pharmacists.
- Build your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Develop skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.
