About the role#
The R&D Engineering Co-op position within the Applicators Group is a full-time, eight-month assignment running from January 2027 through August 2027. You will be paired with a mentor and tasked with completing at least two professional projects. This role focuses on developing skills in project engineering and new product development.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development of new applicator products.
- Conduct testing for both new and released products.
- Support sustaining engineering projects.
- Present your work during bi-weekly and quarterly meetings as required.
- Handle other assigned duties as necessary.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering technology with junior status or higher.
- Minimum overall GPA of 2.8 (a 3.0 or higher is preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with 2D/3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Understanding of GD&T and prototyping processes.
- Ability to follow test protocols and accurately record results.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Commitment: Full-time (up to 40 hours per week) for 8 months.
