About the role#
This is a 12-month co-op experience within the Industrial Wood Division Marketing team. You will be assigned to a specific team to complete a project with periodic performance reviews. This role offers the chance to work alongside marketing professionals and gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the Industrial Wood Division Marketing team across a range of activities including new product commercialization and marketing resource preparation.
- Evaluate new product requests for accuracy and partner with product managers for final approval.
- Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and flow maps for critical business processes.
- Collaborate with regulatory and creative services teams to finalize product labels and ensure compliance.
- Streamline sales and customer reports tailored for product management analysis.
- Provide insights and recommendations for SKU rationalization based on sales analysis.
- Partner with R&D and segment teams to align product positioning and validate information.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Data Science, or Economics.
- Current standing at the junior, senior, or graduate level.
- At least one year of experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work at least 37.5 hours per week during the summer months.
- Ability to work at least 20 hours per week (3+ days) during the school year with flexibility around your schedule.
- Preferred: Minimum 3.0 GPA and an expected graduation date of Winter 2026 or during 2027.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site at the Sherwin-Williams Cleveland Global Headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.
- The position requires 10% travel, including support at the MGTC Brecksville location when necessary.
- This is a paid, full-time co-op opportunity.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
