About the role#
The Engineering Co-Op is a 15-week program hosted by the Engineering Department. You will work directly with site Engineering Managers to handle daily tasks and special projects. This role is based at our Richmond, Kentucky site and begins in January 2027. You will conclude your rotation by delivering a final presentation to site, program, and division leadership.
What you'll do#
- Perform equipment analysis.
- Support new installations and facility revisions.
- Create drawings and specifications for equipment layouts.
- Investigate new plant engineering processes and techniques.
- Execute special projects as identified by the Engineering Team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university, with sophomore standing or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least one year of experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Previous experience in a team-oriented setting.
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role or supervising others.
- At least one year of work experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations function, or completion of a Sherwin-Williams Engineering Development Program.
- Previous internship or Co-op experience within the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division is preferred.
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
