About the role#
As a Field Engineer - Electrical Testing I Intern, you will support senior engineers in the analysis and optimization of electrical power systems. You will assist with basic system analysis, the design of power distribution systems, and the oversight of installations. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical infrastructure through hands-on field work.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with experienced field service engineers to provide on-site technical assistance for electrical systems, including installations and testing.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and inspections to verify the performance and compliance of electrical equipment.
- Diagnose technical issues and implement solutions to minimize client downtime.
- Interact with clients to address inquiries and provide technical expertise while maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, including service reports and client feedback.
- Work with cross-functional teams to contribute to continuous improvement and technical projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a graduation date no later than May 2028.
- A basic understanding of electrical systems, testing procedures, and relevant industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and a dynamic work environment.
- Availability for frequent travel to customer sites for on-site support.
